I'm Joining a Nudist Colony
That's right, you heard me...a nudist colony. I had this epiphany this afternoon as I was sorting, folding, hanging up and putting away my sixth load of laundry with another five loads waiting to be washed. Nudist colonies are not made up of people wanting to be free from restrictions of clothes. Nudist colonies are made up of moms, who after doing the millionth load of laundry said, "THAT'S IT! I quit! I'm not doing another load of laundry....EVER." And thus a nudist colony is born. See, I told you. It makes sense. So, there you have it. The next time you drive by a nudist colony (because you know they're everywhere) don't think to yourself that they are freaks or nutjobs. Think to yourself, "Oh but for the grace of God (and a few more loads of laundry), go I." :)

LOL!! HA!HA! You made me laugh so hard! I'm right there with you. I'll look at my laundry room, and be like I did it, it's all done, and then 1 hour later when they've brought all of their dirty clothes I want to sit down and cry.
ReplyDeleteI can't even find my couch right now, its covered in folder laundry.
ReplyDeleteHa. So very clever. But you have no knowledge of laundry until you do laundry for 8+ people.
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as a "Laundry Day."
If you don't do laundry every day, the chute door will break from it's hinge and completely fill the entire laundry room with dirty clothes.
You could stick THE VERY LAST LITTLE BIT of the laundry from the chute/hamper into the washer, after completing about eight loads that day, and then by the time the washer is on, a few dozen more garments slide down the chute and land on you.
Then comes the emotional breakdown...
